Dave has worked in the automotive industry for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in automotive repair. He currently maintains his Master ASE Certifcation.

Don Sword - Service Manager
Don has more than 28 years experience in the automotive service industry. He has spent the majority of that time working directly as a service manager for the automotive industry in the Dayton area and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team at Murphy's Autocare, Inc.

Ryan Boswell - Service Manager
Ryan comes to us from Baltimore where he worked as a Manager for a family-owned repair facility very similar to ours. Ryan has 10 years experience and training in the automotive field. He located here with his wife and young daughter to be near her family origionally from this area.

5 ASE Certifed Technicians
ASE certification is a nationally recognized standard for automobile service technicians. Certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, ASE has become a standard credential for automotive service technicians. Certification is available in 1 or more of 8 different areas of automotive service including: electrical systems, engine repair, brake systems, suspension and steering, and heating and air-conditioning. To be certified in each area, technicians must have at least 2 years of experience and pass a rigorous examination. In order to maintain their certifications technicians are required to retake each examination once every 5 years.

2 ASE Certified Master Technicians
To be certified as a master automobile technician, technicians must be certified in at least eight 8 different areas of automotive service including: electrical systems, engine repair, brake systems, suspension and steering, and heating and air-conditioning. To be certified in each area, technicians must have at least 2 years of experience and pass a rigorous examination. In order to maintain their certifications technicians are required to retake each examination once every 5 years.
